Organic Activated Buckwheat
Buckinis are made with the seeds of the buckwheat plant, which despite its name, is not related to wheat. Buckwheat helps to alkalise the body unlike other wheat or oat based breakfast cereal, which are acid forming. To activate the buckwheat we soak it, wash and rinse it, then dehydrate it at low temperatures (Below 40ºC).
This breakfast food provides sustained energy and keeps you feeling fuller for longer. Perhaps this is why buckwheat is a staple of Tibetan and Nepalese Sherpas, who negotiate some of the most challening enviornments on Earth!
